Adult help – If anyone is interested in becoming a leader or a helper on a regular or occasional basis then please contact Donna Hubbard (Group Scout Leader) via the phone number or email at the bottom of the page.

 

No previous experience is necessary, as training will be provided.  There is no payment for being a leader but you can expect lots of fun and to make many friends.

 

Ways in which you could help –

 

• Offering a skill to help train or help one of the sections gain a badge or award.

 

• Help prepare refreshments for a section or group event

 

• Help with hut repairs

 

• Support the Scout Group at social events

 

• Support the Groups fundraising activities

 

• Join the Executive committee and help manage the scout group

 

Parent Rota

Many sections run a parent rota, where parents take it in turns to help out each week.  With increased numbers in the sections, this is becoming increasingly more necessary.  It usually means you would be required to help out once every 3 months.
